Where metalurgically bonded connections are necessary TASCO has achieved various certifications required for common welding processes. We have obtained welding procedure qualifications for the following materials:

  • Unalloyed and low alloyed steels (S235, S355, P235, P265)
  • high-strength fine grained structural steel to grade S690QL (Weldox)
  • stainless chrome nickel steels (V2A, V4A)
  • aluminium and aluminium alloys (AlMg3)

 

We have been awarded the following approvals:

  • DIN EN ISO 3834-2
  • DIN EN 15085-2, certification level CL1
  • DIN 2303 – class Q2, structural component class BK1
  • Approval according to GL regulations for the following areas of application:
  • Welding of pressure vessels
  • Welding of piping / orbital welding 
  • Welding of machinery constructions and components

Experienced welding engineers, welding instructors and welding experts supervise the particular requirements and assure the optimal quality of welding connections at TASCO. All non-destructive tests are carried out when needed.

  • Magnetic particle testing (MT)
  • Ultrasonic inspection (UT)
  • X-ray inspection (RT)
